Paola Gentili is an Art Historian whose main focus is contemporary art.
After graduating from the University of Perugia with a dissertation regarding Net Art she started her career at the ‘MAXXI Museum’ in Rome where she worked alongside the Net Art section curator.
In 2008 she worked for a small museum in Città di Castello which hosted a textile collection of Reinassance Umbrian Tablecloths depicted in several frescos. There she contributed to cataloguing all the items of the permanent exhibition and organizing guided tours.
In 2009 she started a postgraduate course in Udine and last year was awarded her diploma.
She has worked in several Institutions in Italy and abroad. In 2009 she worked at the ‘MeetFactory’ and at the ‘Dox Gallery’ in Prague. In 2010 she moved to Budapest where she collaborated with ‘ACAX-Agency’ and with a newly established gallery ‘Friss Galeria’. She currently lives in London and is continuously open to the flow of new ideas and taking inspiration from her surroundings.
