Monica works with different media. Animation, photography, painting. She has the same intensity with all of them but with polar aesthetic results. Her paintings (above) are hyper real, she put all the angst on the surface, like it is something we can control and we can choose to accept or not; her photos (bottom) craves the misery inside all of us, there is no choice, sickness comes from inside and takes control of our bodies. Monica was born in 1974 and lives in Brooklyn, NY, USA.
