Janet Fischietto & the New Burlesque

Today I'm going to talk about a different kind of art. I have to admit it: I do not love strip tease shows or stuff like that but some days ago I saw a burlesque performance. The beautiful burlesque lady was Janet Fischietto (whistle in italian) and I have to say she's sensual and funny at the same time, she amuses her public with sympathy. Let me talk about her costumes and make up: totally amazing! She went to the Moulin Rouge in Paris and her show was incredible!

Well, after that I wanted to know some more about burlesque and I've discovered it was born in England in the nineteenth century and then moved all around the world. I do not even imagine that the pin up star Bettie Page is considered one of the first burlesque performer (even if she never acted on the stage!).
