Can Pekdemir
novembre 30, 2011 da Giovanni Cervi
Can was born in Istambul in ’82. His Seven Sculptures project links art, geography and math. In his words: “using the geographic coordinate system and time values as an input, is a methodological abstraction experiment of human anatomy deformation thus resulting with unique virtual sculptures for every different location and time. Its aim is to visualize these invisible numerical forces around us, by placing these numbers in an algorithm in a deformation process.” Six more images after the cut!
